I work with actors at all stages of their careers, from those just starting out to experienced professionals.

In the churn of the industry, it’s easy to lose sight of what really matters in our craft. The desire to land the job - or to be seen as a ‘good’ actor - can, ironically, get in the way of the work. Scenes become heavy or overthought. Actors play small because they’re afraid of being too much, or push hard because they fear they’re not enough.

Underneath all of that is imagination, freedom and deep creativity. That’s where compelling acting lives - the kind of work audiences don’t just want to see, but need to see. It’s also the place where actors tend to thrive, and where opportunities are more likely to follow.

My work is about helping you access that place: creating the conditions where you can relax, play, and feel safe enough to trust your instincts. To let imagination lead rather than fear. One actor fed back to me that the work helped them remember why they became an actor in the first place.

I offer private actor coaching, self-tape support (remotely or in person), and occasional workshops. Do get in touch if you’re interested in working with me.

‘I couldn’t have asked for a better on-set coach.

Ben’s notes on set were clear, grounded, and easy to implement. His sharp observational skills and calm, generous approach helped me trust myself and the process.’

- Roma Urooj, Actor

‘Working with Ben has completely refreshed my approach to auditioning.

He’s a natural coach with an instinct for exactly when to nudge and when to hold back, helping you discover the work for yourself. His honesty and insight made a real difference to my process.’

- Richard Leeming, Actor

‘Working with Ben helped me to realise things in my performance I didn’t even realise I was doing. Getting advice from an industry professional like him is rare.’

- Alex Froom, Actor

‘Helped me connect to what made me want to act in the first place.’
